About Sigriswil
Sigriswil lies above the Lake of Thun on a mountain slope facing south with a beautiful view of the lake, the lower mountains, and the Bernese Alps. A wide variety of hiking trails and walking paths give visitors the choice between physical and tranquil routes.

The district of Sigriswil with eleven villages is 55 square kilometres. The district includes the villages of Merligen and Gunten on the Lake of Thun and stretches towards the village of Sigriswil and further to the Sigriswiler Rothorn which is the highest mountain peak of the district at 2051 metres above sea level.
With public transportation you can reach Sigriswil from Thun or Interlaken by bus and you can travel to Gunten or Merligen by ship from Thun, Spiez or Interlaken.
